Theoretical Electrical Engineering
The doctoral studies are aimed at producing science and research specialists in various areas of theoretical electrical engineering, especially in the theory of electromagnetism and electrical circuits, in general signal processing methods, and in electrical measurements. The goal is to ensure doctoral education in all these subfields, providing Master's degree program graduates with an effective option to deepen their theoretical knowledge, expand their practical skills, and gain an insight into various science and research methods.
Graduates can solve scientific and complex technical problems in the field of general electrical engineering and electromagnetism. Thanks to their well-developed theoretical education and specialization in their chosen field, PhD graduates are sought after as specialists in the field of general electrical engineering. Graduates of the doctoral programme will be able to work in the field of general electrical engineering and electromagnetism as researchers and scientists in basic or applied research, as specialised experts in development, design and operation in various research and development institutions, electrical and electronic manufacturing firms and companies, and manufacturers or users of electrical systems and equipment, where they will be able to creatively use modern computer and measurement technology.
